HPG reached 94% of the year profit plan 2012 after 9 months

Despite the construction market quiet due to the economy as well as the bad weather, the third quarter of this year, HPG still ensured business operations with VND 4,098 billion of revenue and 309 billion of profit after tax. For 9 months of 2012, Hoa Phat Group reached revenue of VND 12,849 billion and 852 billion of profit after tax, completing 71% and 94% of the year plan.

As expected progress, at the end of September, Hoa Phat Group has completed roof of Mandarin Garden high class apartment project and has been finishing with target of delivery first apartment by September 2013, earlier 4 months than commitment before to customers. In addition to maximum priority for the project’s progress and quality, Hoa Phat also shares difficulties for customers of Mandarin Garden by implementing new sales policy to suit for the current market conditions on price.

During third quarter, the key production of steel still contributed 78% of revenue and 86% of profit to the Corporation, even though the steel market was really difficult. Hoa Phat construction steel gained 13.8% of market share, maintaining the second position in the market with a total sales volume of approximately 456,000 tons in first 9 months.
