Additionally, Ms. Duong Vu Hoang Anh - Raw Materials Manager at Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel JSC - was appointed by Group leadership as Deputy Director of the company, effective July 2026. Both are home-grown personnel at Hoa Phat with decades of service.

Regarding first-half results, the Group achieved 70% of its profit plan. Average labor productivity based on revenue increased compared to the same period last year, led by Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel, Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel, Sea Transport, and An Thong.
Hoa Phat is executing several major projects, such as the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Railway Steel Rail and Special Steel Factory (Quang Ngai).
By mid-August 2026, the project reached 60% completion and is expected to run test trials to output its first product in the first quarter of 2027. Also in the steel sector, the Group is investing in the Long An Steel Rolling and Refining Factory (Tay Ninh) with a capacity of 700,000 tons per year to establish a new "steel stronghold" supplying the Southern market.
In real estate, Hoa Phat plans to launch the Mandarin Garden 3 project in Yen So - Hanoi starting in the fourth quarter of this year. Furthermore, the Group is contributing capital to join a developer consortium for the Red River Landscape Boulevard project, the Thu Lam - Dong Anh multi-purpose urban area (Hanoi), and the multi-purpose urban and resettlement project in Linh Nam ward (Hanoi).
For the second-half plan, the CEO noted that domestic and international markets present mixed opportunities and challenges. Subsidiary leadership must closely monitor market developments, react quickly to fluctuations, and maximize output from factories and complexes.

Chairman Tran Dinh Long directed: "The goal ahead is to maximize AI application to improve production and business efficiency. Anything new comes with difficulties and obstacles, but I demand that we succeed in applying it. Company leadership must lead by example. As I've said, Hoa Phat's tradition is to overcome any difficulty and press forward through any obstacle."
On this topic, member company directors spent significant time discussing the necessity of AI adoption, effective usage, data risk control, and more. According to Mr. Mai Van Ha - Director of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel JSC - the company currently utilizes many tools and software to support production and business data management, including AI and strong digital transformation. The company is deploying 13 AI Agents across most work operations, currently testing and refining them.
Ms. Pham Thi Hong Van, representing Hoa Phat Agriculture Holding Corporation, shared that AI Agents offer great support and even replace humans in handling daily repetitive tasks, though AI must be trained to meet each individual's specific requirements.
Representatives from the AI Project Board, IT Department, and Digital Transformation introduced a systematic AI adoption plan, starting at the Group Office before expanding across all member companies. The project aims to contribute to a 30% productivity increase per task while ensuring information security and data governance.
