Hoa Phat sold nearly 54,000 tons of construction steel in September

Although the market consumption was still weak in Sept, Hoa Phat steel has achieved 53,993 tons, increase of 10% compared to 8/2012. First 9 months, Hoa Phat steel yield achieved 455,760 tons, reducing 5% in comparison to the same period last year. However, this decline is lower than the general decline of the domestic steel industry.

First 9 months of 2012, output sales of the steel enterprises of Vietnam steel association (VSA) is 3,36 million tones, lower than 10% compared to the same period in 2011. Output of VSA in Sept wasn’t much improved due to the low market demand, meanwhile, output of Hoa Phat construction steel still increased more than 10%.

That shows Hoa Phat steel has kept stability in the context of the general difficulties of Vietnam economy in 2012, thanks to good competitiveness, distribution network has been constantly consolidated and expanded. Hoa Phat steel remains its market share at 13,8%.
