Hoa Phat participates into agriculture promotion conference in Thai Binh Province

The municipal People’s Committee of the northern Thai Binh Province on April 8^th organised the promotion conference into agriculture sector and rural area. Hoa Phat Thai Binh Breeding One Member Company Limited was granted investment licence for its pig breeding project with scale of more than 20,000 pigs in the province’s Thai Thuy District.

The conference was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, leaders of ministries, Thai Binh Province and outstanding businesses operating in the province. The Hoa Phat Thai Binh Breeding One Member Company Limited has been one of Top 10 biggest investors into the province’s hi-tech agriculture.

The province granted investment policy for 11 projects with total registered capital of more than VND2.01 trillion; granting approvals of investment to 19 projects with total registered capital of over VND20.9 trillion; granting investment licences to 3 build and transfer (BT) and build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects on road construction with total registered capital of VND2.7 trillion.

Among the investors, Hoa Phat Group was granted investment licence to its concentrated pig breeding applying bio-safety technology project to Hoa Phat Thai Binh Breeding Company; the investment project to build hi-tech beef farm of Viet Hung Breeding One Member Company Limited. Vietinbank committed to finance capital under the VND100 trillion credit package for Hoa Phat to implement the hi-tech agriculture projects in the province.

In his speech delivered at the conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said the success of agriculture should have participation of the Government, investors, farmers, scientists and banks. The subjects are all important in bringing the country’s agriculture to integrate into the world economy.

With the motto "consider businesses as drivers, motivators and benefactors of the local economy", chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Hong Dien affirmed that the province would create favourable conditions for businesses investing into its agriculture sector. In addition, it would have special policies and mechanism based on each project’s scale and proposals to support investors for their long-term and effective operation in the province.

Currently, Hoa Phat Group has operated hi-tech Australian beef breeding farm with scale of 10,000 beefs in Hung Ha District. This has been the largest beef breeding farm in Thai Binh Province. Hoa Phat is starting a bio-safety pig breeding project with scale of over 20,000 pigs in Thai Thuy District based on their investment licence at the end of 2016.

Trinh Xuan Duc, deputy director of Hoa Phat Breeding Development Company on behalf of Hoa Phat Group donated VND1 billion for the construction of the symbol tower of Thai Binh Province. The tower will be built with the purpose of creating a highlight to promote the province’s tourism.
