After introducing Funiki refrigerators to the North American market, Hoa Phat Refrigeration is preparing to build a new manufacturing plant in Phu My with an investment of USD 50 million and an annual capacity of 1.2 million units. The facility will focus on producing large-capacity refrigerators, serving both the domestic market and key export destinations, including North America, Europe, and some Asian countries.

The Phu My plant will specialize in large-capacity refrigerators ranging from 300 to over 800 liters - a segment the company has identified as a strategic focus for both local consumption and exports. Target international markets include North America, Europe, and parts of Asia, all of which require high standards for technical performance and energy efficiency. To meet these demands, the company applies a unified quality control system across the entire production line, including OEM products - from component selection and supplier evaluation to final product inspection before shipment.

Alongside the new plant investment, the company is also expanding its refrigerator product portfolio in 2026. Building on its existing mini and traditional double-door models, Hoa Phat is developing additional Side-by-Side and Multi-Door refrigerator lines - segments that are increasingly popular among urban consumers upgrading their kitchen spaces.

In the freezer segment, Hoa Phat Refrigeration is broadening its product range from compact household models to large-capacity units for commercial use. In addition to traditional steel-door designs, the company is promoting glass-door models with dual compartments, allowing independent freezing and cooling functions within a single unit. These products are equipped with inverter technology to reduce energy consumption during continuous operation - an important factor for food business operators who rely on equipment running throughout the day.

For showcase fridge, Hoa Phat designs its products based on specific customer segments, including convenience stores, coffee shops, F&B chains, and retail systems, rather than developing a one-size-fits-all solution. Each segment has distinct requirements in terms of capacity, display layout, and operating frequency. As a result, products are optimized around two key factors that directly impact operating costs at the point of sale: display efficiency and energy consumption.

In 2026, Hoa Phat Refrigeration introduced the Funiki PowerAI HPIC air conditioner series with integrated Wi-Fi, allowing users to control the unit remotely or set automated schedules via the HAC SmartLife mobile application.

The Funiki PowerAI HPIC operates reliably in ambient temperatures of up to 55°C, thanks to a new-generation PCB inverter combined with a UV-coated protective layer that shields the circuit board from humidity, making it well-suited for tropical climates. In terms of energy efficiency, the product has achieved a 5-star rating under TCVN 7830:2021, with a CSPF of 6.01, meeting the latest regulations effective from April 2025.
