Harmony Hoa Phat vessel completed the first voyage, carrying 80,000 tonnes of coal to the Dung Quat Port

On April 14^th, The Harmony vessel of Hoa Phat Shipping Joint Stock Company transported more than 80,000 tonnes of coal from Australia to Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Integrated Complex in the central Quang Ngai Province. This is the first trip of The Harmony after being delivered to Hoa Phat.

The Harmony was built in Japan with modern equipment, high safety, fully meets strict standards of quality, technical safety, remuneration for crew members. It had a safe shipment throughout the journey.

The shipping market has been in vessel shortage. The freight of Kamsarmax has doubled after the Tết (Lunar New Year). Hoa Phat Group has a huge quantity of goods. Each year, it is necessary to import tens of millions of tonnes of raw materials such as iron ore, coal, limestone, scrap etc both inside and outside the country to serve its production. The vessel has helped Hoa Phat Group be proactive in importing raw materials for production as well as for exports, and at the same time reduce the risk of shipping charges in case of price hike.

Hoa Phat Shipping Joint Stock Company owns two large ships of 90,000 tonnes, carrying bulk cargoes such as coal, iron ore. The company is responsible for shipping by sea for all free on board (FOB) orders and sell cost and freights (CFRs) of the group. It also receives commercial orders in the market.
