Announcement of changing some Hoa Phat’s business registration details

On May 16, 2026, Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company announced updates to certain business lines in its corporate registration. Regarding this matter, Hoa Phat Group would like to provide the following details:

1. Reason for the Change: On September 29, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 36/2025/QD-TTg, which established a new Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification system that officially took effect on November 15, 2025. Consequently, several economic industry codes have been revised.

2. To ensure the Group’s registered business lines align with these new regulations, the General Meeting of Shareholders of Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company approved the proposal to update its registered business lines on April 21, 2026. On May 15, 2026, the Business Registration Office under the Department of Finance of Hung Yen Province officially confirmed the changes requested by the Company.

3. In reality, this is strictly a technical update to comply with the new regulatory framework. Hoa Phat is not registering any brand-new business sectors; all industries and sectors were already part of the Company's previous corporate registration. 

4. The Group confirms that in the long term, its main business fields still focus on 05 areas: Iron and Steel, Steel Products, Agriculture, Real Estate, and Home Appliances.
