Iron & Steel Complex Project: highly concentrates on the construction site

From November, the items of Tay An GeneralContractor for Hoa Phat Iron & Steel Complex, including the cast iron refining and steel refining plants started to execute the equipment and workshop foundations such as: the underground loading chute of the sintering plant; the coal inject system, hot blast furnace of the blast furnace, etc. The Board of Directors of Hoa Phat Steel JSC assigned the technical divisions of the Company, including mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and technological department to directly work at the construction site to closely supervise all the execution items (including the items of the deformed steel rolling mill).

Currently, the mechanical, electrical, quality management, technological divisions step by step accomplish the technology and quality standards of the materials used in the Complex, working instruction, management and operation process, etc to ensure the installation and operation in accordance with the technical and technological requirements since the hot test run, avoiding the wrong operation process, causing the damage for the project. All the other divisions of the Company also highly concentrate on speeding up the project’s progress.

Recently, in addition to order the supplementary screening machine, ore washer, etc of Hoa Phat Equipment & Accessories for the ore screening line, the Company ordered to purchase the coal gas generator, motor boat to patrol the security of Kinh Thay River’s dyke area. In November, the Company will sign the equipment purchasing contract  for the laboratory, the coal gas storage tank 30.000m3 and other contracts and prepare for receiving Tay An’s equipment in the end of this month. In addition, the Company also speeds up the contractors, implements the works for the items of the rolling mill’s main area.

On expectation, on December 31st, the office’s item will be accomplished and handed over. Electricity, Internet, camera infrastructure etc which are used for work have been also planned to install.

The project has been on the peak period of executing and installing the important items. To ensure the progress, the Company has concentrated on  its resource as well as prepared for operating the equipment safely and effectively.
