Hung Yen Province’s leaders always highly appreciate Hoa Phat Group

In the morning of November 15th 2008, the leaders of Hung Yen provincial Committee of the Party andDepartment of Taxation paid a working visit to Hoa Phat Group in Pho Noi A Industrial Park Authority to grasp the Group’s production and business situation as well as study some difficulties, proposals of Hoa Phat as the enterprise investing in the province area.

Attending the meeting, Hung Yen provincial Committee of the Party, including Mr. Cao Van Cuong - Hung Yen provincial Party Committee Secretary, Mr. Nguyen Bat Khach – standing Vice  Chairman of the Province People’s Committee, Mr. Le Quang Huy - Department of Taxation Director, Mr. Dang Ngoc Quynh – Chief of Hung Yen provincal Committee of the Party. The representatives of HPG’s Board of Directors, Mr Tran Tuan Duong – the General Director of Hoa Phat Group JSC and Mr. Hoang Quang Viet – the Director of Hoa Phat Urban Development & Construction JSC attended the meeting.

After visiting Pho Noi A IP, Hung Yen Province’s leaders listened to the presentation of the production and business situation in the first 3 Quarters of 2008 as well as the situation forecast of HPG in 2009. At the same time, HPG’s Board of Director also presented some difficulties in production and business process, as well as the influences of the global financial crisis on Vietnam enterprises in general and HPG in particular. On be half of HPG, Mr. Tran Tuan Duong recommended the leaders of Hung Yen provincial Committee of the Party, Province People’s Committee, Department of Taxation and local authorities to give HPG favourable conditions to the land acquisition and clearance, deep investment implementation in the IP infrastructure and the new urban, contributing to attract more domestic and foreign enterprises to Hung Yen.

Mr. Cao Van Cuong - Hung Yen provincal Party Committee Secretary told that, the province’s leaders always highly appreciate HPG’s goodwill of investment in Hung Yen as well as the contribution to the Province’s budget over the past time. Among the enterprises in Hung Yen Province, Hoa Phat is the truly potential enterprise and in the reality, over the past years, HPG has always developed fast and been the leading enterprise with highest tax payment to the province’s budget as well as creating jobs to thousands of labour, contributing to the social and economic development. Hung Yen Province’s leaders will give all favourable conditions to HPG together with related departments to exchange, solve difficulties and also make favourable conditions to the best development of HPG.

During 17 years of establishment and development, HPG has been close-knit for more than 12 years with Hung Yen Province. Over the past years, HPG has been proud of the leading enterprise in the province’s the social and economic development with the highest tax payment to the province’s budget, creating jobs for thousands of labour in the locality as well as the neighbouring provinces. HPG’s factories and IPs are equipped with the comprehensive and modern technical infrastructure,  to ensure the production demand of the Group in particular, a long with attracting more enterprises’ investment in the province.

In 2007, HPG paid VND 162 billion in tax to Hung Yen’s budget, increases 252%, accounting for 18.5% of Hung Yen Province’s total tax and 40.4% of the total tax of the enterprises. Promoting the achievements, the turnover in the first 9 months of HPG gained VND 6.640 billion, the profit after tax reached VND 1.083 billion, paid VND 260 billion in tax to the Province’s budget, accounting for 55% of the total nationwide tax payment of the Group. On expectation, in 2008, HPG’s turnover gains VND 8.000 billion, pays VND 280 billion in tax to the Province’s budget. Up to September 30th 2008, the Group has a total of 5.717 employees.
