Hoa Phat steel sale reached over 200,000 tonnes in July

Hoa Phat construction steel sale in July reached 209,000 tonnes, representing 24.7 per cent year-on-year increase despite of unfavourable weather conditions. Hoa Phat steel continued to maintain its leading position with highest market share thank to the high sale.

Hoa Phat sharply increased the output of welding rod steel to 33,000 tonnes in July, increasing 54 per cent from the previous year. This is a high quality and special steel which has been given favour from the market for production of welding wire, steel wire drawing, industrial wire mesh and civil.

Hoa Phat’s steel output has been always maintained at high level

Hoa Phat’s steel exports in July was at high level of 21,800 tonnes, bringing its total export volume of steel bar and welding rod steel to the US, Canada, Malaysia and Laos to 111,800 tonnes, sharply increased from the same period last year.

The sale of Hoa Phat’s construction steel in the 7 month period rose by 32.3 per cent from the corresponding period last year to more than 1.24 million tonnes. The demand of the civil market was on the rise, making total output of all factories including Hoa Phat increased.

According to Viet Nam Steel Association (VSA), the strong growth rate of both steel sale and production in the first 7 months of the year showed that local steel producers could totally meet with domestic construction steel demand.
