Hoa Phat Group hits target 6 months early

Hoa Phat has fulfilled the business plan during the first 6 months with impressive result. The news is especially meaningful while the economy has been recently in difficult and unstable conditions.

The group’s gross turnover in the first 6 months has reached approximately 5000 billion VND, equal to 65% of the year 2008’s plan. The profit after tax has reached 848 billion VND, exceeding 14,5% of the 740 billion VND plan of the year set by the Board of Chairmen and Directors early in the year. 

The Hoa Phat’s main categories especially steel, steel pipe, construction machinery and furniture remain fairly good growth. Hoa Phat Group now totally concentrates on pushing forward the progress of constructing the Hoa Phat Steel Complex project in order to put in to operation in the second quarter of the year 2009. When it’s finished, the project will contribute 6500 billion VND to the group’s annual turnovers.
