DNV Organization takes ISO assessment at Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company

On two days, Nov 7th and 8th, 2008, the DNV ((Det Norske Veritas - Holand) officially assessed the Quality Management Standard performance of Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company to reissue the ISO 9001: 2000 certificate.

Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company was issued the first ISO 9001: 2000 certificate by the DNV from 2004. Up to now, ISO 9001 standard has become the key position  to the quality management activities at Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company. However, in accordance with the development of production and business activities, over the past time, the Company has always implemented its internal assessment and revised some process to suit the production and business situation in the new condition.

During the 2 working days, the DNV assessed the Quality Management Standard performance in the Factories and the offices of the Company, especially the production sector, The summary assessment report showed the strengths and problems should be improved in some divisions. The report emphasized that in general, the ISO Quality Management Standard performance is implemented well at Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company. The problems that should be improved are small errors, the Company can solve in the short time.

On schedule, improving some problems will be taken within 7 to 10 days. After that, the DNV will reassess and issue ISO 9001:2000 for Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company in December, 2008.
