23rd August, 2008, in the International Convention Centre Le Hong Phong, Ba Dinh ward, Hanoi, Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company’s Funiki Brand had the honour of receiving the Capital Gold Star 2008 Award. This is the prize that recognizes the distinguished business in Hanoi in the year 2008.

The ceremony of giving Capital Gold Star 2008 Award was participated by the central and Hanoi leaders and the representatives of businesses in Hanoi. 30 excellent brands and 11 products of the businesses in Hanoi were granted this prize.

Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company, the member of Hoa Phat Group, was founded in 2001. The company manufactures the products including: refrigerator, air conditioner, freezer, washing machine, enameled electric water heater under Funiki brand. During 7 years of building and development, the Funiki refrigeration and household appliance has gained the consumer’s trust and appreciation thanks to the good quality and reasonable price. The annual average growth reaches 30-40%; the company contributes approximately VND 100 billion to the state budget and generates stable jobs for over 700 staffs and workers.

The award is the acknowledgment by the City Union and the central leaders about the positive contribution of the Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company to the progress of building and developing the capital. The 30 brands and 11 products will represent Hanoi businesses take part in the final of the national Gold Star Award taking place in September, 2008.
