12 years of Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel: Increasing efficiency by encouraging creative labor

Therefore, every year, the movement of innovation initiatives of member companies takes place very vigorously. Among them is Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel, where there are several dozen initiatives, benefiting the company tens of billion each year.

Every year, the company synthesizes initiatives in two phases and organizes rewarding activities for individuals and collectives that have the best initiatives. Only in the first 6 months of 2019, Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Company has 17 improvement initiatives, with a profit of over VND 31.8 billion.

These include the initiative "Improving the quality of billet for the molding machine system", the proposed proponent is Mr. Ho Van Cuong, Director of Foundry PX, Steel Mill, but it needs the coordination of collective Cast Workshop, Blast Workshop, Technology, Electrical, Mechanical, and the support of the Plant Management Board, Technology Department, Mechanical Equipment, Quality Control, maintenance team of steel casting factory NM ... This joint effort has brought a perfect result for the 4 casting machines of the factory, limiting the defects of casting crack and increasing casting speed. Regarding technology, the initiative has completed the standard billet water cooling regime for each steel grade and each cast section cross section. For equipment, complete the process of calibration and installation of water plants, adjust R&M curved radius for casting machines. The collective spirit of this initiative not only helps achieve the quality of the embryos, but the value to benefit the company is a small number - over VND 12.3 billion / year.

In addition, the Steel Plant also contributed two more initiatives: "Improving the cover of intermediate tanks" and "Fixing the surface of cast iron surface air holes" by Mr. Cuong and Mr. Phung Nhat Quang - Director of the Blowing furnace with the export value is estimated at over VND 2.5 billion / year.

In the spirit of always exploring, creating and finding optimal solutions for the company in production activities, Mr. Dang Viet Thanh - Head of Technology Department proposed the initiative "Using anise furnace ore instead of sintered ore used for slag creation in blast furnace steel smelting stage "has a benefit of more than VND 11.35 billion / year. More importantly, the use of reversible ore completely replaced the sintered ore, meeting the requirements of blast furnace slag creation and furnace conditioning. Production and quality are satisfactory, since March 2019, there will be no shortage of sintered ores for 3 blast furnaces to use.

In addition, there are initiatives worth over 1 billion VND of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh (Material Processing Plant) with the proposal of NMCBNL Compressor Station (including 10 132Kw engines), or the Design, Print initiative, using English eteket instead of Vietnamese eteket for export (Quality Control Department), Improving lifting / lowering equipment, transporting steel coils: Installation of 16T automatic rotating crane hook assembly for steel coil cranes. Round the forklift, round the hook of steel coil shipping cranes (Warehouse Department).

There are initiatives that are not of great valuable, but are of utmost important importance in production, contributing to stable machinery operation, reducing material consumption, benefiting health, protecting the environment, ensuring labor safety for workers. These are initiatives: Warning filled coke hopper, Improving coke screening system (Coke & Thermal Power Plant); Improving the dust vibrating system of dust filter of lime kiln finished product 3 (Material Processing Factory), Anti-clogging dust discharge electrostatic dust filter (Cast iron factory 1); Bravo software to manage purchases - reclaimed inventory (KVT08) of the Warehouse Section,…
