Quang Ngai Party Secretary Ho Van Nien visits and congratulates Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel on Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day

On the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13, 2004 – October 13, 2025), a working delegation led by Mr. Ho Van Nien, Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, visited and met with Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company.

Provincial Leader appreciates Hoa Phat’s contributions to Quang Ngai’s development

During the meeting, Mr. Ho Van Nien highly appreciated the company’s significant contributions to the province’s economic growth, emphasizing that Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel has become stronger over the years and is now among the top 1,000 enterprises with the largest corporate income tax payments in Vietnam, making a vital contribution to the local budget. He congratulated the company on its achievements and expressed hope that Hoa Phat Dung Quat will continue to expand its production and business operations, create more jobs, and promote sustainable socio-economic development in Quang Ngai Province.

On behalf of the company’s management and employees, Mr. Mai Van Ha, Director of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company, extended sincere thanks to the provincial leaders for their visit and congratulations on this special occasion. He reaffirmed that the company will continue to maintain efficient production and business operations, ensure employee welfare, and actively engage in meaningful social welfare programs — contributing to the province’s long-term development.

Secretary Ho Van Nien and the working delegation toured the HRC 2 Plant of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel.

After the meeting, the delegation toured the company’s plant, operation zones, and dedicated port, directly observing the production process at the modern integrated steel complex, synchronized infrastructure, and ongoing expansion projects. The provincial leaders commended Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel’s continuous efforts to enhance production capacity, expand markets, and pursue sustainable development.

Earlier, on October 10, 2025, Mr. Luong Kim Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks, led another working group to visit and congratulate Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day.

Leaders of the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks Management Board visited and congratulated the company’s management on Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day.

Mr. Luong Kim Son praised Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel’s strong efforts and great contributions to developing Vietnam’s steel industry, continuously innovating technology, enhancing production capacity, and driving the local socio-economic development. He emphasized that the company is among the province’s exemplary enterprises, playing a vital role in budget contributions and providing stable employment for tens of thousands of workers within and beyond Quang Ngai Province.

The representative of the Management Board also reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to supporting enterprises, particularly in removing obstacles, improving the investment environment, and enhancing operational efficiency.

In response, Mr. Mai Van Ha, Director of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company, expressed his sincere appreciation for the Management Board’s guidance and support over the years. He noted that such timely assistance has been a major source of encouragement, helping the company overcome challenges, maintain stable growth, and continue expanding its production scale in the coming period.
