Hoa Phat Steel Sheet receives certificate of commendation from General Department

On October 9, a delegation from the Large Enterprise Tax Sub-Department under the Ministry of Finance visited Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company to congratulate and present the company with a Certificate of Commendation from the Director General of the Tax Department ahead of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day on October 13.

Mr Nguyen Tai Hai, Deputy Head of the Large Enterprise Tax Sub-Department, presented the certificate and flowers, congratulating and commending the significant contributions made by Hoa Phat Group and Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Co., Ltd

Attending the event was Nguyen Tai Hai, Deputy Head of the Large Enterprise Tax Sub-Department. The Hoa Phat Group’s representatives included Mrs Tran Thi Thu Hien, Deputy General Director of the Group; Mr Hoang Duc Thuan, Director of Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Co.,td; Pham Thi Kim Oanh, the Group’s Chief Financial Officer; and representatives of relevant departments.

Representing the Large Enterprise Tax Sub-Department, Nguyen Tai Hai said Hoa Phat Steel Sheet was one of four companies that met the criteria for a certificate of commendation recognizing compliance with tax policies and laws in 2026. 

On behalf of the Large Enterprise Tax Sub-Department, Nguyen Tai Hai congratulated and commended Hoa Phat Group and Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company Limited for their significant contributions to the State budget. Hoa Phat Steel Sheet was one of four companies that met the criteria for a certificate of commendation recognizing compliance with tax policies and laws in 2026.

During the meeting, Hoang Duc Thuan, Director of Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company Limited, expressed his sincere appreciation to Tax Department leaders and technical units for their continued guidance and support as the company updates its practices and implements tax regulations. 

Briefing the delegation on its business and production operations, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet said the company was established in 2016 to manufacture coated steel, with total investment capital of VND 4.3 trillion and an annual design capacity of 400,000 metric tons. Throughout its development, the company has maintained that stable, efficient and sustainable growth must go hand in hand with transparent governance and strict compliance with tax, accounting and financial regulations. 

In 2025, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet generated revenue of more than VND 9 trillion and contributed VND 120 billion to the State budget. The company currently provides jobs and stable incomes for 650 employees. For 2026, it is targeting revenue of VND 10 trillion and a State budget contribution of VND 160 billion, up 33% from 2025. 

The Company representative emphasized that the tax authority’s support had helped the company correctly understand and implement tax policies, enabling it to proactively improve its accounting, invoicing, tax filing and payment practices. 

Over a decade of establishment and growth from 2016 to 2026, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet has maintained a strong culture of discipline and continuous improvement, steadily reinforcing its position among Vietnam’s five largest coated steel producers. Its products have been exported to dozens of countries and territories across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
