Hoa Phat provides 12 different grades of HRC

Hot rolled coil (HRC) is produced at Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Integrated Complex on a modern continuous casting production line of Danieli Group - Europe, with a capacity of about 3 million tons/year. In 2022, Hoa Phat's HRC sales volume will reach more than 2.6 million tons. The Group's products meet many strict standards such as JIS, MS, SAE, BS EN...

In order to increase output, improve quality and expand the HRC product range, Hoa Phat has upgraded and optimized the production line. Hoa Phat has produced thinner HRC products from 1.2mm - 12.0mm (previously 2.0 - 12.0mm).

After upgrading, with marks SPHC, SPHD, SPHT1, BJPC, BJPD equivalent to SAE1006, Hoa Phat can produce and roll to a minimum thickness of 1.20mm. Grade SPHT3, BJPS equivalent to SS400 which achieves a minimum thickness of 2.00mm. As a result of their mechanical properties, marks S235JR and S275JR meet the standards of quality and meet the standards of mechanical properties. The grade SPA-H used to make the container has high quality, stable production.

Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Steel Integrated Complex Project, deployed by Hoa Phat from 2022, has a capacity of 5.6 million tons of

HRC per year. Together with Hoa Phat Dung Quat 1, the Group's total annual HRC capacity is currently 8.6 million tons. The Group's crude steel production capacity is expected to reach more than 14 million tons by 2025, bringing it to the top 30 largest steel enterprises in the world.

In addition to being used as a raw material for the production of steel pipes and roofing sheets, HRC is also used to manufacture other specific products such as containers, structural processing, etc.
