Hoa Phat Steel achieved a record sales volume of 300.000 tons in November

In November 2019, the production and sales volume of Hoa Phat construction steel reached record numbers ever. The amount of steel supplied to the market reached 300.000 tons, the highest in nearly 20 years of the Group history of construction steel, an increase of 36,4% compared to November 2018.

According to the leader of Hoa Phat Steel, construction activities at the end of the year have entered the peak period with increasing demand of civil areas, which is the main factor helping to boost year-end sales, especially in the southern region. On the other hand, the recent rise in construction steel price in the market has also stimulated agents to take more products to serve customers.

Accumulated 11 months, Hoa Phat Steel produced and supplied nearly 2,5 million tons of high quality steel to the market, increased 28% compared to the same period, including over 220.000 tons exported to markets such as Japan, Cambodia, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Australia, USA ....

It is expected that in December, the amount of finished steel products supplied to the export market will continue to increase sharply compared to November, because by this time, Hoa Phat steel has closed a contract of 35.700 tons of steel bars and rolled coil steel in December.

Earlier, in January and March 2019, Hoa Phat construction steel recorded an output of nearly 250.000 tons. The record level of output in the past November is a confirmation of the initial success of Hoa Phat Steel in investing to expand production towards focusing on product quality, constantly diversifying types, grades and optimizing the value chain of steel products. This is also the motivation for Hoa Phat Steel to exceed the plan in 2019, creating momentum for stronger growth in 2020.
