Hoa Phat moves up in the Ranking of Top 100 Southeast Asian Enterprises in 2026

Fortune magazine has just published the 2026 Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking - a list of the 500 largest businesses in Southeast Asia based on their revenue from the previous fiscal year. Hoa Phat Group ranks at number 59, moving up 3 spots compared to 2025. This is the third consecutive time that Hoa Phat has been honored in this ranking.

In 2025, the Group reached VND158,332 billion  in revenue and VND15,515 billion in profit after tax, increasing 13% in revenue and 29% in profit compared to 2024. Out of this, steel production - the core business area - contributed 93% of the whole Group's revenue.

During 2025, Hoa Phat Group contributed VND13,000 billion to the government budget across 20 provinces and cities nationwide. Hoa Phat is in the top 4 private companies that paid the most taxes (according to the 2025 PRIVATE 100 ranking by CafeF). The highest amount paid to the government budget by Hoa Phat occurred in Quang Ngai province with VND8,153 billion, making up 63%. In addition, Hoa Phat also made large budget contributions in Hai Phong City, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.

Along with contributing to Vietnamese national government budget, in 2025, Hoa Phat continued to be recognized in many prestigious rankings, such as: Top 2 Largest Private Enterprises in Vietnam, Top 10 Excellent Enterprises of Vietnam, Top 50 Most Effective Business Companies, Top 100 Largest Companies in Southeast Asia by Fortune, Top 10 Value-Creating Enterprises in Vietnam 2025 - Building Materials Industry, Top 50 Best Listed Companies in Vietnam, and more.

In the first quarter of 2026, Hoa Phat recorded more than VND53,300 billion in revenue and VND9,056 billion in profit after tax, which are increases of 40% and 170% respectively compared to the same period in 2025.

Hoa Phat Group is currently the largest steel maker in Southeast Asia with a capacity of 16 million tons. Out of this, 60% consists of high-tech steel types, serving industries like mechanical engineering, car manufacturing, shipbuilding, oil and gas, home appliances, steel structures, and energy. Right now, Hoa Phat is the only Vietnamese enterprise capable of producing hot-rolled steel coils.

Hoa Phat is currently deploying the Steel Rail and Special Steel Factory project in Dung Quat. The factory is expected to turn out steel rail products in the second quarter of 2027, serving key railway projects in Vietnam and for export to international markets.
