On June 27, 2026, Hoa Phat Group participated in the Investment Promotion Conference and announced the revised Dak Lak Province Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. Within the framework of the Conference, Hoa Phat Group received a memorandum of understanding for strategic cooperation on investment and development with Dak Lak province.

Hoa Phat showcased a range of its high-value steel products, including railway rails, structural steel, hot-rolled coil and prestressed steel, highlighting the group's expanding portfolio of high-quality steel products.Vu Xuan Ha, Deputy General Director of Hoa Tam Industrial Park Infrastructure Development JSC, accepted the memorandum on behalf of Hoa Phat. Under the agreement, Hoa Phat will priorities investment in steel production and related industries, seaport and logistics infrastructure, and industrial park development in the South Phu Yen Economic Zone.

He said local authorities would continue streamlining administrative procedures, support investors throughout project implementation, accelerate site clearance, prepare clean land for development and maintain regular dialogue with businesses.
During 2026–30, Hoa Phat plans to invest in three key projects with a combined estimated investment of VNĐ120 trillion (US$4.6 billion). These include the first phase of Hoa Tam Industrial Park, covering more than 491 hectares; Bai Goc Port, designed to handle up to 26 million tonnes of cargo annually; and the Hoa Phat Phu Yen integrated steel complex, with an annual production capacity of around six million tonnes.
The group is currently working with local authorities to complete legal procedures, site clearance and maritime approvals for the Bai Goc Port and the first phase of Hoa Tam Industrial Park. Local authorities have launched a 60-day campaign to accelerate land clearance, with construction expected to begin in September 2026, subject to the completion of all required procedures.
Once operational, the projects are expected to strengthen manufacturing and logistics in the region, maximise the advantages of the deep-water port in the South Phu Yen Economic Zone and support Dak Lak's target of achieving double-digit economic growth. The projects are projected to contribute around VNĐ10 trillion in annual State budget revenue and create approximately 15,000 jobs, with priority given to recruiting local workers.
Hoa Phat is currently Southeast Asia's largest steel producer, with annual crude steel capacity of 16 million tonnes, placing it among the world's top 30 steelmakers. More than 60 per cent of its output consists of high-quality steel products serving industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive manufacturing, railway infrastructure, shipbuilding, oil and gas, steel structures and energy.
