Hoa Phat Group awarded the Second-class Labor Medal

On April 12, 2023, the People's Committee of northern Hung Yen Province awarded the Second-class Labor Medal to Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company for its outstanding contributions to socio-economic development in the 2017-2021 period. Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province also awarded certificates of merit to many member companies of the group on the occasion of the provincial leaders meeting with businesses and entrepreneurs in 2023.

The conference had the presence of Mr. Tran Quoc Van - Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, agencies and hundreds of businesses operating in the province. Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - General Director of Hoa Phat Group, Mr. Hoang Quang Viet - Member of the Group’s Management Board cum Director of Hoa Phat Urban Development and Construction Joint Stock Company and representatives and leaders of member companies with registered head office in Hung Yen Province attended the event.

At the meeting, the Chairman of Hung Yen People's Committee and representatives of departments and sectors frankly answered businesses about difficulties in the process of implementing projects. In which, the focus was on the issues of land rental unit prices in industrial parks, investment attraction policies, land procedures, support policies for small and medium enterprises, etc.

 On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee awarded Pho Hien Cup to 10 businesses and awarded medals to 24 individuals who have made great contributions to the socio-economic development of Hung Yen Province in 2022 as well as ensure tax obligations to the State in the locality.

Hoa Phat’s five member companies received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee including: Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel, Hoa Phat Cold Rolled Steel, Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company’ Hung Yen Branch, Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Company, Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company. The Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel Company was also awarded Pho Hien Cup for its important contributions to socio-economic development in the province in 2022. At the same time, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Van - Director of Hoa Phat Hung Yen Feed Co., Ltd was awarded Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Chairman of Hung Yen People's Committee awarded the Certificate of to individuals who have made many contributions to the socio-economic development of Hung YenPprovince, including many member companies of Hoa Phat Group.

In Hung Yen, Hoa Phat has always been in the Top of the biggest contributors to the province for many years. In the period of 2017 - 2022, Hoa Phat's tax payment in Hung Yen was always at around VND1 trillion, and in the Top of the non-State tax payers to the province.

In which, the member companies of the group that have contributed the most are Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel Company, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Co., Ltd, Hoa Phat Urban Development and Construction Joint Stock Company, Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company, Hoa Phat Cold Rolled Steel Company etc.
