August 2012, sales volume of Hoa Phat steel slightly rose

More than 49,000 tons was sales volume of Hoa Phat steel in August. This figure rose 9.5% compared to the July’s total output, helped Hoa Phat strengthening No. 2 of market share in steel construction with 13.6%.

Thus, the total amount of Hoa Phat steel consumption in 8 months reached 401,700 tons. Specifically, steel deformed bar counted for 76%, equivalent to 308,000 tons. The types of steel bar, especially high grade deformed bar for large bridges, skyscrapers are the strength of Hoa Phat steel.

According to the Vietnam Steel Association, August steel consumption amount was slightly higher than in July, but no mutation. Because this is seventh lunar month which is low period of construction both in civil and industrial fields.
