Towards Annual Shareholder Meeting 2010

On March 30, 2010, Annual Shareholders Meeting 2010 of the Hoa Phat Group JSC will take place at Hilton Hanoi Opera, 1 Le Thanh Tong, Hanoi. Until now, all preparation work is promptly being carried out.

Accordingly, account department of the Group’s member companies is actively cooperating with Vietnam Ernst & Young Audit Company to issue the consolidated financial statement after finishing audit. Annual Report is also being done under the advice of Saigon Securities Inc (SSI).  The invitation of attending the shareholders meeting has been sent to both organization and individual shareholders. Up to February 10th 2010, the number total of shareholder is 8323. The company has maintained a hotline (Tel: 04.36282011, ext: 671) to answer any shareholder questions about the process of preparing the Meeting. Besides, the media effort of conveying information about the meeting is also focused to ensure that all shareholders get enough information and implement their shareholder benefit actively. 

Board of Directors, Supervisory Board has also conducted some meetings which chaired by Chairman Tran Dinh Long. BOD adopted a lot of important contents, specially the dividend rate 2009 to submit in the Meeting.

At this congress, BOD, Board of General Directors and Supervisory Board will report the result of production and business in 2009 and the plan in 2010, approve financial statement, the funds deduction, dividend plans for 2009 and expected dividend in 2010, and the addition of production and business field.

Actually, 2009 marked the success of Hoa Phat Group in overcoming the difficulties of post-crisis period, stabilizing the traditional sectors, speeding up project implementation and development orientation in depth. The whole Group reached VND 8240 billion of revenue, VND 1282 billion of after-tax profit, equivalent 117.7% of turnover and 139% after-tax profit compared to the adjusted plan in the mid-year of 2009. Hoa Phat Group has contributed a big rate to the state budget, with VND 621 billion, increasing 13.7% in compared with 2008. 

With the thorough preparation, we can do believe that Annual Shareholders Meeting 2010 of Hoa Phat Group will take place successfully.
