Signing contract for blast furnace factory stage 2

On 04/04/2012 at Hoa Phat Group office, the contract signing ceremony of blast furnace factory stage 2 - Hoa Phat integrated steel complex happened between Hoa Phat Steel JSC and Qinhuangdao Qinye heavy industrial Co., Ltd, Tangshan Institute of steel and iron engineering design.

Taking part in the ceremony, there were Mr. Tran Dinh Long - Chairman of Hoa Phat Group with directors of member companies of Hoa Phat Group, Mr. Wang Wei Feng - Deputy General Director of Qinhuangdao Qinye heavy industrial Co., Ltd and the project specialists of both parties. Emphasizing the importance of project, Mr. Tran Dinh Long urged the partner Qinhuangdao Qinye to ensure quality implementation; progress and compliance with best design have been mutually agreed.

Blast furnace’s stage 2 includes iron blast furnace 450m3, sintering system 90m2 and some other ancillary items. The plant has a capacity of 500,000 tons / year, and expected to be finished within 12.5 months. According to Mr. Wang Wei Feng, the entire system for the plant equipment will be put into trial run by around 5/2013 and may launch the first batch of pig iron in 6/2013, in accordance with the schedule committed to Hoa Phat.

Qinhuangdao Qinye heavy industrial Co., Ltd is one of China's leading companies of steelmaker technology, professional in equipment manufacturing, metallurgy, furnace, cast iron water handling equipment, ... After researching and using some backup equipments for the first phase blast furnace, Hoa Phat Steel JSC officially selected this partner in charge of the whole  equipment for blast furnace factory stage 2.

Thus, all the most important items of phase 2 - Hoa Phat integrated steel complex has been deploying. In March, Hoa Phat started construction of the third steel rolling mill; steel-making mill ... These items are being implemented with good quality and progress to put phase 2 of the complex into operation in time.
