Quarter I/2010: Consumption of Hoa Phat Steel exceeded by 72% in compared with the same period of 2009

In the first quarter of 2010, consumption of Hoa Phat Steel reached 127,800 tons, increased by 72% compared with the same period of 2009 (first quarter of 2009 reached 74,459 tons). Particularly in March 2010, sales volume reached 65,175 tons, including more than 7000 tons of output in HCMC market.

To achieve this impressive result, Hoa Phat has implemented many sensible and proper sale policies, and constantly expanding civil market and strengthening major projects. 

In March 2010, Hoa Phat Steel has supplied thousands of tons of steel for the projects, such as HAVICO TOWER, Van Khe New Urban, Van Phu, Splendora ... Representatives of the owner of these works are highly quality, categories, and capabilities, specially prices of Hoa Phat Steel very competitive compared to other manufacturers on the market.

Besides, the production activity of Hoa Phat Steel in the first quarter continued to maintain high growth rate, with the total of 124,076 tons. The new rolling steel chain at Hoa Phat Integrated Steel Complex reached 54,716 tons, with many high steel grades providing for great works, super-high buildings. Therefore, Hoa Phat always meets all requirements of the market, ensuring the smooth progress of construction projects.

As predicted by the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA), the world economy in general and Vietnam in particular are beginning to recover. It will promote constructive demands, expansion of local businesses and residents. Total output of the country's steel consumption this year will reach about 5.8 million tons, up 10% compared with 2009.

With the advantages from the integrated production and economic recovery, Hoa Phat Steel will have a stronger development in the coming time, affirming position of the leading steel manufacturer in Vietnam.
