Northern Australian delegation visits Hoa Phat Group

Hoa Phat Group’s management board on December 12^th 2017 received the Northern Territory of Australia. The visit has been an important pre-condition to promote trade between Hoa Phat and Australian businesses in the upcoming time.

The delegation was led by Mr. Ken Vowles – Minister for Primary Industry and Resources, director of the Department of Livestock Exports and member of the Northern Territory Cattleman's Association.

The meeting between Hoa Phat Group and the Northern Territory of Australia reached important results

The meeting was attended by Mr. Tran Dinh Long – chairman of Hoa Phat Group’s management board, Mr. Tran Tuan Duong – general director, Mr. Doan Gia Cuong – general director of Hoa Phat Agriculture Development Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hoan – director of Hoa Phat Trading Company Ltd, Mrs. Ly Thi Ngan – deputy director of Hoa Phat Trading Company Ltd.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged and agreed to co-operate in many fields. In particular, the Northern Territory Government of Australia pledged to support Hoa Phat to promote trade, import and export activities, providing cattle and buffalo source to ensure quality and quantity for Hoa Phat Group. The Northern Territory of Australia also committed to fully implement veterinary procedures and vaccination for live cattle before exporting to Viet Nam.

Chairman Tran Dinh Long highly appreciated potential and strength of North Territory of Australia in terms of mining, energy and animal husbandry. Long said that Hoa Phat has imported a lot of raw materials and beef from the Australian market. He affirmed that besides importing cattle, Hoa Phat will import iron ore and coal from North Territory in the coming time and hope that this meeting will be a pre-condition for co-operation between the two sides.
