Myanmar Promotion Center for International Business visits Hoa Phat

In the trip to Vietnam, the delegation of Myanmar Promotion Center for International Business led by Mr. Aik Htun – President of the Center and Chairman of High-tech Concrete Companies, Shwe Taung Development Company (Myanmar) has visited and worked with Hoa Phat Group in Hanoi. 

The mission component included the President and Directors and staffs of the Center, Corporations, Groups; Companies of investment, trade, construction, decoration... in Myanmar. The leaders of Hoa Phat Group who attended the meeting were Mr. Tran Tuan Duong - Vice Chairman and General Director of Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company, Mr. Doan Gia Cuong - Vice Chairman and Director of Hoa Phat Furniture Company, Mr. Ta Tuan Quang – BOD’s Member and Director of Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company. Besides, many Vice directors, Chief of export, supplies departments and staffs of Group’s member companies.

At the meeting, Tran Tuan Duong said that Hoa Phat Group is one of the leading private industrial groups with a network of product distribution across the country of Vietnam. Particularly in 2009, profit after tax of the whole Group reached 70 million USD, turnover 445 million, and total assets up to 540 million. Currently, Hoa Phat Furniture Co. is a leading furniture manufacturer; Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co. is a largest manufacturer of steel pipes nationwide; Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company is a manufacturer of refrigeration products Funiki which has the highest localization rate in Vietnam; Hoa Phat Equipment Accessories company is the first and biggest manufacturer of Vietnam in the field of build machines, stone grinding machines, grinding ore ....The Group's products have been exported to the most difficult markets in the world such as USA, European countries, Middle East and Asian countries. The foreign customers appreciate the quality of products, sales service. Mr. Tran Tuan Duong also hoped, Hoa Phat and Myanmar partners will cooperate with the multiple fields on the basis of respect and mutual benefit.

Myanmar delegation members also learned and appreciated the Group’s activities, particularly production technology and capabilities ... related to steel, steel pipes, furniture, refrigeration, equipment and spare parts ...

In addition, the delegation also directly visited Group’s Showroom of products. Group members highly valued products as well as the investing and exporting opportunity and potentiality of Hoa Phat to Myanmar. After the trip, the delegation will report to the Myanmar Government on capacity management, production and finance of Hoa Phat Group, from which to further support for the Group members pushing process of investment and exports to Myanmar.

The visit to Hoa Phat Group is one of the first activities of Myanmar Promotion Center for International Business to learn the operation of enterprises, and support the investment plan of Hoa Phat in Myanmar. Hopefully, with the steadfast management experience and the help of Myanmar Government, Hoa Phat Group’s activities of investment, exports to Myanmar will be soon deployed in the coming period.
