Hung Yen leaders met local enterprises

In the morning of March 25, 2010, Hung Yen People's Committee (HYPC) held a meeting and presented awards to the enterprises that had excellent achievement of business in 2009. At this meeting, HYPC has awarded Pho Hien Cup for Hoa Phat Furniture Co., Ltd and Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company. Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co., Ltd was honored to be awarded the Merit of Chairman of HYPC due to outstanding achievements in production and business and community development.

Attending the meeting, there were the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Thong – Standing Vice Secretary of Party Province and Chairman of the People's Council of Hung Yen, Mr. Nguyen Bat Khach – Standing Vice Chairman of HYPC, Mr. Dang Dinh Quan – Chairman of Hung Yen Business Association, representatives of ministries and central branches, the People's Councils, People's Committee office, the Departments, district and city leaders, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Association of SMEs, and many enterprises in the province. Representatives of Hoa Phat Group include Mr. Tran Tuan Duong - General Director of Hoa Phat Group JSC, Mr. Nghiem Viet Hong - Deputy Director of Hoa Phat Furniture Joint Stock Company, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh - Deputy Director of Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company and Mr. Hoang Duc Thuan - Deputy Director of Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.

In his speech, Mr. Dang Dinh Quan said that, total of provincial budget revenue in 2009 reached 2.381 billion. The number of 476 billion of tax revenue from the non-state businesses, the members of the Hoa Phat Group occupied more than VND 200 billion, equivalent to more than 40% of the non-state revenue total and 13% of revenue total of Hung Yen province, creating job for thousands of local workers, especially Hoa Phat Furniture Joint Stock Company, Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company and Hoa Phat Refrigeration Co., Ltd.

With positive contributions to the socio-economic development, HYPC awarded Pho Hien Cup for 11 enterprises, including two members of the Group: Hoa Phat Furniture and Refrigeration. Specifically, HYPC has been awarded Merit for outstanding achievements in business and community development for 10 groups and three individuals, including Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company Ltd.

At the meeting, many businesses expressed their frank views on the issues which are still obstacles in the process of integration and development of Hung Yen business community, especially recruitment, the land policy, procedures, and benefits for workers who taking part in social insurance, ...

On behalf of Hoa Phat Group, Mr. Tran Tuan Duong thanked the authorities, local Departments for their concerns of creating best conditions for Hoa Phat production and trading. He also recommended to Hung Yen leadership should have specific itinerary for each development period on the tax policy, land management, investment attraction, ... to create more favorable conditions for enterprises to further its business effectively in the process of integrating the world economy.
