HPG: November 2010, steel consumption increased 52%.

According to the latest report, in November 2010 the steel consumption of Hoa Phat reached 52.661 tons, increased 52% over the same period 2009. Hoa Phat continued in the group of the three largest steel enterprises in Viet Nam and hold 12% market share of steel consumption in the country.

The steel turnover recent months achieved positive results because the end of the year is the construction season, expected in December, the business will continue to remain good income...

The advantage of the active input sources of Hoa Phat is more clearly in case the price of imported steel billet, scrap iron and iron ore are accelerating, especially the iron ore price in November increased 11% in comparison with October and expected continue rising which makes steel enterprises have to constantly adjust their price.

With the stable and large reserves of ore mines in Ha Giang, Yen Bai and modern machinery with high capacity, Hoa Phat will continuous effective action. Recently Au Lau ore processing plant of Hoa Phat Mineral JSC in Yen Bai completed the 2nd phase before the timeline and now is operating, Vi Xuyen plant - An Thong Investment Mineral JSC (HPG's subsidiary. in Ha Giang province) is also expected to test at the end of September 2010.

Especially in November, Hoa Phat Key project: The steel Integrated Complex had the highest output since going into operation in early 2010, reached 29,256 tons and over 17% of monthly expected capacity in the first year. Steel output is expected the first year in 2010 was 300,000 tons and the expected output of next years was 350,000 tons.
