Hoa Phuoc Livestock Co. Ltd. harvests first fruit from biological safety pork meat

Hoa Phat Agriculture Development Joint Stock Company decided to establish the Hoa Phuoc Livestock Company Limited and investing into a pig farm in Minh Duc Commune, Hon Quan District, Binh Phuoc Province with an aim to bring clean pork meat meeting biological standards to both local and foreign customers. After two years of investment, Hoa Phuoc Livestock Company Limited harvested first fruits.

In order to have the best quality pork meat, the company has visited many large farms and learned from the world famous experts about breeding and pig raising technology in Denmark, Canada and the US. After one year of operation, pigs produced by foreign engineers and experts between two purebred breeds have grown very well with high meat ratio.

The first pigs imported from Denmark are given attention from customers

In early June 2017, in order to evaluate the pork meat quality of Minh Duc Farm and to get objective comments of consumers, Hoa Phuoc Livestock Co. Ltd. introduced the pork meat products to market. They received positive responses from customers.

Mr. Le Huu Binh, a trader who had more than 20 years of experience in pork trading at Binh Dien wholesale market in HCM City and the western provinces evaluated that the Hoa Phat's pork meat was most bought by customers.

Ms. Ha, the owner of HH mini mart chain specialising in clean food in Ho Chi Minh City said the Hoa Phat’s pork meat has been favoured by customers. The positive responses showed that Hoa Phuoc Livestock Co. Ltd has been in the right direction.

Currently, Hoa Phuoc is paying attention to improve production process, productivity and reducing costs. It was expected that its new pig would be introduced in the southern market in the second quarter of 2018 with output of 20,000 pigs a year and 150,000 pigs by 2021.

Covering an area of 87 ha, the Minh Duc biological safety pig farm is separated from urban areas. The project was designed and invested by leading Denmark experts in the livestock sector with modern scale and breeding.

Despite of difficulties, Hoa Phuoc Livestock Co. Ltd believed that its pork meat product would be continued to receive more positive responses in the upcoming time and becoming a strong brandname in the market.
