Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co., Ltd was established on August 20th, 1996, with the first product is the welded steel pipe. In 1998, implementing market expansion strategy, diversifying the products, the Company  invested in the hot galvanized zinc line with the modern technology from the Federal Republic of Germany to produce the galvanized steel pipe. This is the product that is used in many diversified industries such as: water supply and drainage, fire alarm and protection, post office, construction, industry, interior, ship building, etc.

Hoa Phat galvanized steel pipe is produced complying with BS 1387/1985 standard of England such as dimensions: BS-A1, BS-LIGHT, BS MEDIUM, TC02-2003 standard with the dimensions used for mechanical industry. In the first year, Hoa Phat galvanized steel pipe consumption was 1,200 tons. Together with the great efforts of enhancing the product quality, Hoa Phat galvanized steel pipe has found the steady position in the market. Hoa Phat galvanized steel pipe has been distributed from the warehouses in Hung Yen, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City via agencies system from the North to the South. In the following years, galvanized steel pipe consumption has been continuously increased, meeting the multi demands of the market. In the first 10 months of the year 2007, the galvanized steel pipe consumption of Hoa Phat gained 34,000 tons. In 2007, the number is estimated about 40,000 tons per year.

Hoa Phat Steel Pipe has been marked in many big works, namely: My Dinh National Convention Center; My dinh National Stadium, Me Linh Plaza building, The My Dinh Manor building; Hoa Binh – Son La – Dien Bien optical cable transmission work, Cam Pha Cement Factory Work, Ha Long Cement, Quang Ninh Cement, Thai Nguyen Cement; Yen Bai Cement, Rural Clean Water Work for Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Hoa Binh Provinces, etc. Hoa Phat galvanized steel pipe is specially prestigious in some markets, namely Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Dong Hoi, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and some South-West provinces. This product is highly appreciated because the zinc-plated thickness is stable, from 50 - 70mm, even circle pipe, vertical pipe, and especially high quality welded joint thanks to German automatic control equipment. The first and sole manufacturer in the big demension steel pipe in Vietnam

With 2 galvanized steel pipe production lines, currently, Hoa Phat galvanized steel pipe accounts for 40-45% the market share nationwide. Hoa Phat asserts to be the biggest provider the big dimension galvanized steel pipe in Vietnam. Furthermore, the Company’s Board of Directors has always researched and planned strategical product planning to meet the maximum customers’ demands such as variety, quantity, quality as well as customer satisfaction. Therefore, the Company continues to invest in 4th steel pipe bending lines, increases to 15 lines. In the coming years, it is estimated that the Company will implement 1 more zinc galvanization line, can galvanize the big dimension pipe from Ø141.3 to Ø 219.1. This is the advantageous product of Hoa Phat because up to now, Hoa Phat is the first and sole manufacturer that can produce the big dimension pipe to Ø 219.1 in Vietnam.
