Hoa Phat steel operates at full capacity to serve market

In March, construction steel output of all the Hoa Phat factories reached nearly 180,000 tons, up 18% compared to the same period in 2015. All plants have fully operated capacity for timely supply of products to the market.

Hoa Phat steel rolling mill No. 4 has been put into production in late 3/2016

Also in 3/2016, Hoa Phat has officially operated No. 4 steel rolling mill, belonging to the integrated steel Complex in Hai Duong, improving its supply capacity up to 180,000 tons of steel per month, equivalent to about 2 million tons per year. According to leaders of Hoa Phat Steel, the added output (about 60,000 tons per month) from the plant will be allocating more to the national market.

Accumulation of 3 months, Hoa Phat steel output reached 394,500 tons, up 30% compared to the same period last year. Vietnam Steel Association said that, despite strong steel consumption but by the end of March, steel inventory is still about 325,000 tons. The market will be more supplied 1 million tons of steel from a series of new projects across the country to be put into operation this year, excess capacity to meet market demand.
