Hoa Phat steel consumption increased nearly 20% over the same period

In May 2013, Hoa Phat reached more than 57,200 tons of steel consumption; an increase of 19.8% over the same period last year, with the stable market share of 14.3%.

Not only debar steel was consumpted well, but also Hoa Phat rolled steel had the highest level on the market with an output of 66,750 tonnes in the past 5 months. This showed that investors as well as consulting companies of construction projects tend to choose Hoa Phat steel for their works by the ensured quality, competitive price and quick response capability in the country.

According to the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA), the industrial production in 5/2013 was down but sales increased from the same period last year. However, for the whole 5 months, the production and sales of all association remained lower than last year.

The total sales volume of steel companies of VSA reached 1.9 million tons, down 0.99% compared to the first 5 months of 2012. Meanwhile, Hoa Phat steel output slightly increased with over 275,000 tons, remaining a stable market share stable at 14.3%.
