Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering to expand factories and boost capacity

Basing on the reality of high demanding for refrigeration market in the coming years, Hoa Phat Refrigeration Company are undertaking the project of expanding and boost capacity of Air conditioner, Refrigerator and high class Plastic products factories. These factories are situated in 80.000m2 Refrigeration Complex in Pho Noi A Industrial Park.

According to GFK Market Research Company, the weather this year is an advantage for making business in refrigeration products. Hot weather forecasted in the early months of this year stirred up the market. The output capacity does not meet the market’s demand. The consumption of air conditioner in the early 2007 summer exceeded the peak consumption of the year 2006.

In comparison with air conditioner, refrigerator consumption has been rising remarkably. Refrigerator with capacity 100L and 200L are highly consumed. Besides famous brands such as Panasonic, LG, Samsung, Hitachi … the Funiki brand has been gainning a remarkable market share due to the advantage of local producer with stable quality and reasonable price for majority of Vietnamese consumers.

Basing on the good prospect of refrigeration market in the coming years, Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering Company carries out the project of expanding and boost the capacity of air conditioner, refrigerator, high class plastic factories. After completing expansion, the Refrigeration Complex total area will reach 80.000m2 in Pho Noi A industrial Park.

The project will be equipped with modern machines and production lines which are imported from Germany, Denmark, Taiwan … with total investment capital of 100 million VND. Expanding factory project is expected to be finished and start operation by November 2007, raises the output capacity of refrigerator and air conditioner up 30 – 40 % compared to the present.

Along with Air conditioner – Refrigerator factory’s expansion, Plastic factory will also doubles the capacity to ensure providing promptly and adequately semifinished products to produce air conditioner – refrigerator and other factories in Hoa Phat Group.

Acording to the plan, the project will raise the annual turnover by 300 – 400 billion VND, generate jobs for more than 100 local workers, and distribute tens of billion VND to the national budget in tax.

The investment of expanding air conditioner – refrigerator factory will make up a new face for Pho Noi A Industrial Park, provide the domestic market the high technology products with reasonable price and achieve the objective of exporting to regional countries.
