Hoa Phat receives the best annual report 2009

On July 20th, 2010, at the White Palace Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, the State Securities Commission held a ceremony 10 years of Ho Chi Minh Security Exchange (Hose) and awarded the Best Annual Report (AR) in 2009 for businesses on both Hose and HNX. Hoa Phat Group honored to be rewarded the 3rd time consecutively.

The voting council of AR 2009 chose 32 of the best ARs to award. The organizers presented two awards of the most transparent information, 8 of the excellent AR. Hoa Phat and 20 other listed companies were awarded the best AR. 

In the opinion of the voters, the organization scale of this year is larger than previous years. AR 2009 was elaborately invested, full of items, particularly relating to the financial statements and reports of the Board of Directors, General Director. Many businesses had an annual report in bilingual Vietnamese – English… The voting criteria are prior to transparency, standards and fastest information to investors.

In order to ensure the openness, fairness and objectivity of the poll, the voting Council included prestige independent and experience experts. In addition to representatives from Hose, Securities Investment Newspaper, HCMC University of Economics and ANZ Vietnam, the Council has also the participation of representatives of the Hanoi Stock Exchange this year.

The poll of Annual Report 2009 was opened to all organizations which have listed stock at Hose and HNX. This is the third consecutive year that the poll has been held.

With this award, Hoa Phat Group JSC has consistently has been appreciated by managers of stock market as well as investors since HPG was listed on Hose in 2007. The standard, transparent and constantly updated information of Hoa Phat Group have created the trust and good relationship between HPG and domestic - foreign investors.
