Hoa Phat reached a record production of over 351,000 tons in March

In March 2020, this was the first time Hoa Phat construction steel reached a record of more than 351,000 tons in the month, an increase of 42,2% compared to March 2019. The export output also reached a very high level with nearly 68,000 tons of finished steel products and the Group also exported 135,000 tons of steel billet to other countries.

All regions recorded strong growth, in which, construction steel for export increased by 2.5 times over the same period, the Southern region increased by 89.7%, the Central region increased 23.2% and the North is 14.7%. In the context of the complicated pandemic, sales volume in the Southern region still reached more than 70,000 tons, making an important contribution to the sales results of Hoa Phat Steel in the month.

The export market also recorded brilliant results with nearly 68,000 tons of finished steel products to Japan, Cambodia, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, ... This figure is nearly equal to the export volume of the first quarter of 2019. In addition, Hoa Phat Group exported more than 135,000 tons of billet steel to many countries in the world for the first time within a month.

Total consumption of finished steel and steel billet, Hoa Phat supplied 486,000 tons to the domestic and foreign markets in March, a high record of Vietnam's steel industry. According to the representative of Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel Co., Ltd, the unit in charge of selling Hoa Phat steel, Hoa Phat steel sales reached this impressive level thanks to the civil construction area is in season.

Accumulated in the first quarter of 2020, Hoa Phat construction steel has supplied to the market over 732,000 tons (excluding steel billet production), a slight increase over the same period. In particular, the amount of finished steel products exported was nearly 135,000 tons, up 74.8% over the same period last year. In particular, Hoa Phat's billet was supplied to the market is about 350,000 tons, mainly for export.
