Hoa Phat ranked in the Top 1000 enterprises of tax contribution

On 22/10/2010 in the National Convention Centre, Hanoi, Vietnam Report JSC combined with VietNamNet, Taxation Magazine to hold a ceremony to announce  Top 1000 enterprises of tax contribution of Vietnam (V1000). Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company, Hoa Phat Furniture and Hoa Phat Steel Pipe honored in this chart.

"With the assessment, ranking closely controlled and verified by the reputative advisory counci, the announcement of V1000 is recognition and honors the achievements that enterprises have contributed in the development of the country. The businesses could be absolutely proud of their dedication to the national budget and society", said Dr. Tran Duc Lai - Deputy Minister of Information and Communication in his opening speech.

Next, Deputy Minister Tran Duc Lai, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan Editor in Chief of Vietnamnet and Dr. Tran Dinh Thien - Director of Institute of Vietnam's economy has been awarded certificates, medals V1000 for representatives of rated firms. In particular, Hoa Phat Group, Hoa Phat Steel Pipe and Hoa Phat Furniture ranked respectively 140, 242 and 401 of the Top V1000 and located in the top 200 private enterprises which had most contribution of income tax.

This is the first year that V1000 is published to recognize and honor businesses with good business results, law-abiding, tax policy and largest income tax contributions in the three consecutive years (from 2007 to 2009) for the state budget. Information and data of classified enterprises referenced by VNR500 - Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam and many other data sources.

According to Mr. Vu Dang Vinh - General Director of Vietnam Report, although only a very small percentage of total of more than 300,000 existing businesses, those 1000 businesses contributed over 90% of the total income tax collected from all over the country with about 84,375 trillion.
