Hoa Phat on Top Ten of ranking 500 largest private enterprises in Viet Nam

On 25th November 2010, VietNam Report JSC combined with Vietnamnet announced VNR500 chart -  TOP 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam 2010. In which Hoa Phat Group JSC honorly ranked 10 out of 500 largest private companies and ranked 60 out of 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam (regardless of the state, foreign, private).

This is the 4th year the ranking follow Fortune 500 model carried out in Vietnam and also the 4th consecutive year Hoa Phat Group is included in this chart. On the structure of industry, top 10 of VNR500 in 2010 continued  showing dominance of sectors : banking - Finance, Gold and Silver, Hoa Phat is a rare industrial enterprise on the Top. Hoa Phat holding high positions in both rankings confirmed the position of a large economic group and gap narrowed to enterprises worldwide.

VNR500 results from VietNam Research Report, recordes ojectively ranking and achievement of business community that Vietnamese enterprises in recent years. In particular, enterprises reached the chart only know their ranks after Organizers publiclize on mass media.

The study was consulted by domestic and abroad expert group, base on scientific principles, independent and follow international standard. Enterprises do not have to pay any fee to be reached on the chart, as well as can not impact to change the ranking result.

To be ranked in charts of every components the enterpise must have tunrover minimum 1.200 billion and the ranking of private enterprises, the minimum turnover of enterprises must be over 500 billion.

Summing up the first 10 months of 2010, Hoa Phat Group turnover was 11.257 billion, reached 91% the yearly plan, and profit after-tax of HPG reached 1.081 billion. Hoa Phat is currently expanding in all three sectors: industrial, mining and real estate business. The next year expects strong growth both in quality and quantity of the HPG.
