Hoa Phat officially provides galvanized steel to the market

Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company Ltd has organised the launching ceremony of its high quality galvanized steel to the market, marking a new development step of Hoa Phat Group in the galvanized steel sector. The hi-end product is produced on the European most modern technology line which could meet the strictest requirements in the market.

After two years of construction, Hoa Phat galvanized steel sheet factory with an areas of 13ha in Pho Noi A Industrial Zone in northern Hung Yen Province officially came into operation and commissioned the first production line. With a capacity of 400,000 tonnes per annum, the factory is a key project of Hoa Phat Group in the roadmap to reach the top 5 of the largest steel producers in Viet Nam by 2020.

With the technology line imported from European and G7 countries, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company Ltd offers main products such as pickled and oiled (PO), cold rolled full hard, galvanized (GI), aluminium galvalume steel (GL), colour coated steel, especially galvanized steel for use in harsh environment (SPE and PVDF paint), widely used for civil and industrial projects as well as for exports to markets around the world such as Europe, North America and Asia.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr Nguyen Manh Tuan, vice chairman of Management Board of Hoa Phat Group cum chairman of Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company Ltd said “We are very pleased and proud that the Hoa Phat's products have received great attention from customers both inside and outside the country. Prior to the product launching on the domestic market, it was also supplied to Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Complex, which was a good start in the production chain”.

Although this is the first shipment to the market, the group's official distribution agents said that the products have been one of the best of its kind in the market. The colour of the steel is beautiful, high fineness and equal. After a few days of launching, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company Ltd received orders from dozens of large distributors with a volume of over 2,000 tonnes.

According to the company's leaders, the next batch of galvanized steel sheets will be launched in early May. At the same time, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company Ltd continues to complete and put into operation synchronous lines in the third quarter of 2018.
