Hoa Phat leads with Australian beef supply in Vietnam

Hoa Phat Trading Co Ltd – a subsidiary of Hoa Phat Agricultural Development JSC had a year with impressive business results. Its revenue was double than the previous year and its Australian beef supply secured 42 per cent of the country’s total market share. With the output, Hoa Phat took the lead in supplying Australian beef after less than three years in the market.

Hoa Phat Trading Co Ltd is currently the largest company in the industry with many farms nationwide. The number of imported cows and those supplied to the market increased dramatically compared to the previous year, meeting nearly half of the beef demand for the domestic market. With high output, sales revenue of Hoa Phat Trading Co Ltd increased twice compared to the previous year and profit increased by 176 per cent compared to 2017.

The breeding farms of Hoa Phat Trading Co Ltd are deployed towards large-scale and fattening husbandry according to closed and high-tech processes to ensure quality and food safety. In 2018, Hoa Phat Trading Co Ltd officially operated the cow feed nutrition cooperation program with Australia's leading experts to ensure that cows will be cared for under the best standards and detailed to each type of cow. The breeding process is carried out scientifically and strictly controlled from choosing raw materials to care process.

Hoa Phat Trading Co Ltd planned to expand its breeding scale in 2019 and striving to achieve the sale growth rate of 12 per cent against last year. It would also increase the market share of Australian beef imports to 45 per cent while have further studies on beef supply chain, diversifying beef sources and consider raising other high-quality cow breedings in Vietnam.
