Hoa Phat honoured in the Top 50 best listed companies for 7th consecutive year

According to the list of Top 50 best listed companies in Vietnam 2019 announced by Forbes Việt Nam on June 3^rd 2019, Hoa Phat (HPG) was honoured in the ranking for seven consecutive years. This has been also the first time Hoa Phat was ranked in the top five best listed companies in term of profit.

The listed was chosen from companies with best business results and listed on HCM City Stock Exchange (HSX) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

Forbes Việt Nam’s figures showed that the Top 50 best listed companies had the total after-tax profit of VND127.5 quadrillion, posting 19.2 per cent year-on-year increase. Their total market capitalization reached US$94 billion, accounting for 63 per cent of the total market capitalisation in the two stock exchanges in the middle of May 2019. Especially, the list this year saw the strong growth of private sector including Hoa Phat.

Hoa Phat ranked in the Top 50 best listed companies for the seven consecutive years

Last year, Hoa Phat posted impressive business results as its integrated revenue reached VND56.5 trillion, increasing 21 per cent from the previous year. Notably, its after-tax profit reached the record level in its history to VND8.6 trillion, surpassing 7 per cent from the set target and the previous year. In the first quarter of the year, Hoa Phat Group posted revenue of VND15.1 trillion and after-tax profit of VND1.8 trillion, representing 22 per cent and 27 per cent increases of the set targets respectively.

This has been the 7^th year Forbes Việt Nam released the list of Top 50 best listed companies. Earliers, Hoa Phat Group was also honoured in the Top 500 most profitable companies in Vietnam, top businesses with the best financial management ability and taking the lead in the steel industry and firms with best financial indexes in the Vietnam’s stock market.
