Hoa Phat honoured in the Top 10 most prestigious listed firms 2017

Viet Nam Report on December 21^st 2017 announced the ranking of Top 10 most prestigious listed companies in Viet Nam 2017. Hoa Phat Group was honoured in the ranking for two consecutive years with many big names.

The ranking of the Top 10 most prestigious listed companies 2017 was an independent research of Viet Nam Report. The annual list has been announced since 2015 based on Media Coding built by Viet Nam Report and its partners since 2012 and special researches in key sectors with high growth potential such as real estate, construction, banking, insurance, pharmacy, food – beverage and retail.

The prestige of listed companies was based on researches on financial factor, business image in media and assessments of financial and security experts, growth potential. The business survey was implemented in December 2017 on capital scale, market, labours, revenue growth rate, profit and operation plans in 2017.

Notably, Hoa Phat was in the Top 10 bluechip stocks with best revenue and profit in 2016. In 2016, the group for the first time in its history surpassed the profit of VND6.6 trillion, increasing 89 per cent from the previous year. HPG’s revenue and profit this year would surpass the results of 2016. In the first 9 months of the year, Hoa Phat Group reached revenue of more than VND33.8 trillion and after-tax profit of VND5.6 trillion, posting 43 per cent and 21 per cent year-on-year increases. This has been a record result despite the material price market saw continuous changes.

The prestige has been considered as an intangible asset which has big affect to investment decision into a listed company, especially its prestige in media. According to a research of Viet Nam Report and its partners, businesses should reach a certain difference rate of more than 10 per cent of total media coding between positive and negative information. The research also revealed that Hoa Phat achieved a high rate of 90 per cent of positive information in media.

With the basic, strong and strict investment for all sectors, Hoa Phat’s brandname prestige and products’ quality in the market have been confirmed. Hoa Phat has been continuously honoured in many prestigious rankings such as Top 10 biggest private companies, Top 10 most prosperous firms, Top 10 best companies, Top 10 most prestigious building material companies and Top 10 best listed companies so far this year.
