Hoa Phat Group received the Best Annual Report Award

The selection contest on  the Best Annual Report organized by Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange and Stock Investment Magazine, sponsored by Dragon Capital ended with the Award Ceremony held on June 27th in Sheraton Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City. Hoa Phat Group, and 6 other listed enterprises, awarded with the 3rd prize.

Saigon Commercial Bank (Sacombank) win the 1st prize, the 2nd prize is owned by FPT Group. The 3rd prize is awarded for Vietnam Milk Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Corporation (Phu My Fertilizer) and Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company. PetroVietnam Drilling and Drilling Service Joint Stock Company (PVD) received the most impressive annual report award.

Report of Hoa Phat Group was highly appreciated by Evaluation Council as the most impressive analysis part about business activities. This part provides a lot of information about operation result, profit growth, highlighted projects of member companies. Ms. Ta Thu Hien, Financial Director of the Group told that, annual report 2007 of Hoa Phat Group was joint implemented by Financial Department, PR Department and VinaSecurities – the consultancy. Although this is the first year listed on Vietnam Stock market, leaders of Hoa Phat Group always advocate that the information of the Group is open, transparent and accurate to concerned investors, shareholders and partners. Annual report 2007 which is an important publication of Hoa Phat, marked the first unifying year of the Group summarizes all business and production activities, financial situation, organization, human resource, Group management, etc.

Annual Report 2007 of Hoa Phat complies with the information publication regulation in Circular 38/2007/TT-BTC, it has all unifying audit report audited by Deloitte. The content is generally edited, in order to generalize image about private individual Group specialized in industry production with . Cover page of the publication is designed simply, it is the combination between logo image and 12 lines (symbolize for 12 member and allied companies of Hoa Phat) directed to ward ahead, “Hoa Phat – Harmony and development”.Also by Ms. Hien, inspite of being the first annual report and having shortcomings, Hoa Phat Group received much highly appreciation and compliments from shareholders, investors who are concerned about Hoa Phat’s publication, and the 3rd prize of selection contest is the evidence of the success.

Annual report award will be implemented annually and will be expanded the participants, they are the enterprises listed on Hanoi . The award is held to encourage listed enterprises to comply with building the annual report stipulated by Vietnam and approaching international standard.

At the ceremony, Mr. Vu Bang, President of the State Stock Committee appriciated the selection contest is the practical significance activity, in order to glory and encourage enterprises to improve the profession and transparence in building annual report, contributed to improving the transparence of Vietnam Stock Market. State Stock Committee will continue to strongly support for the selection contest on the annual report to be held successfully and gained highly professional quality.
