Hoa Phat Group contributes VND3.2 trillion to the State budget in four months

In the first four months of the year, Hoa Phat Group contributed VND 3.25 trillion to the State budget. Of which, the group had the largest contribution to State budget of Quang Ngai Province with over VND2 trillion.

With a system of companies, factories and farms across the country, Hoa Phat Group is currently contributing to the State budget of 24 localities such as Ha Giang, Hanoi, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Quang Binh, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Long An etc. In which, Quang Ngai, Quang Ninh, Hung Yen and Hai Duong are localities where Hoa Phat has the biggest conntribution to their State budget.

Only in the first four months of the year, Hoa Phat's contribution more than VND2 trillion to State budget of Quang Ngai Province, 2.3 times higher than the same period last year and accounting for 63 per cent of the group's total contribution to the State budget. The Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Integrated Complex is located in the province, with an output of more than 5 million tonnnes a year. The complex has been operating at full capacity, providing an increasingly high and stable output of construction steel and hot rolled coil to the market. It is the reason that the contribution to Quang Ngai’s budget this year has increased dramatically.

In 2020, Hoa Phat Group achieved VND13.5 trillion of after-tax profit, contributing VND7.3 trillion to the State budget, up 10 per cent compared to 2019. Since 2007 when it started listing on the stock market, Hoa Phat has paid nearly VND45 trillion to the State Budget.

In 2020, Hoa Phat Group was honored in the Top 30 largest taxpayers in the country. Some of the group's member companies are also in V.1000 - the list of 1000 largest tax payers in the country.

In addition to contributing to the State budget, Hoa Phat Group has always paid attention to social and community-oriented activities. Recently, the group has donated VND3 billion to the Central Tropical Hospital and K Hospital (Tan Trieu), bringing the total support to the COVID-19 pandemic prevention to VND23 billion.
