Hoa Phat Group awarded Top 3 listed companies with the best IR activities 2020

Hoa Phat Group was continued to be honoured in the Top 3 listed companies with the best Investor Relation (IR) activities in Vietnam in 2020 at the award ceremony held on September 22^nd, 2020 in HCM City.

This is the result of the IR activities survey and evaluation programme at 729 listed companies. Award-winning businesses are those that received the highest score from 28 financial institutions through a scoring system.

Hoa Phat was named in the Large Cap - a group that shows outstanding “performance” when bringing the most profits in the voting group as well as on the stock market. In addition to impressive business results and high growth over the years, HPG always attaches great importance to investor relations in various forms, while at the same time ensuring the information disclosure requirements in accordance with regulations for listed businesses.

With the motto “Harmony for joint development”, Hoa Phat always thinks that their growth is not only come to internal strength but also the result of “harmony” and consensus of stakeholders with trust and support of shareholders and investors. Openness, transparency and ensuring shareholder benefits are important criteria in the group's investor relations (IR) activities. Their Investor Relations Department always maintains interaction with their shareholders through annual programmes such as the General Meeting of Shareholders, contact with investors; Meetings with domestic and foreign analysts, organizations and investors, through different ways such as direct contact at the office, visits to factories, projects, and answers to investors via phone, email, website etc.

In particular, the face-to-face meetings with the chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Tran Dinh Long or visits to the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex project have great attraction to shareholders and investors as well as representatives of fund management and securities companies. This shows the attractiveness of the leading steel producer in Vietnam in term of market share.

The organising committee of IR 2020 said the enterprises received the most votes from investors through a set of criteria including transparent, proactive and timely disclosure of information; useful and easy-to-use IR websites; investors can easily gather information about a business from mass media; reliable financial data and easily reference shareholder documents for investment decisions; prestigious management board and investors highly appreciated enterprises’ public investor relations.
