Hoa Phat gets strong brandname award 2017

On April14th 2018, Vietnam Economic Times organized the festival for the Golden Dragon Businesses: Vietnamese strong brands 2017-18. Hoa Phat continues to be honoured as one of the strongest brands in Viet Nam.

This is an annual event to honour those are foreign direct investment enterprises and domestic enterprises that achieved excellent results in production and business activities as well as improving competitiveness in the economic integration. This has been also votes from consumers nationwide through Viet Nam Economics Times. Hoa Phat has been honoured in the top of strongest brands in Viet Nam for years.

Last year, the festival of Viet Nam’s strongest brands was themed “connecting prosperity for sustainable growth”. This was an important year for Hoa Phat, marking its transition in terms of stature and scale. By the end of 2017, Hoa Phat achieved impressive growth with VND46.8 trillion turnover and VND8.01 after-tax profit. These represented 38 per cent and 21 per cent increases in terms of turnover and after-tax profit from 2016 and surpassing 117 per cent and 134 per cent of set targets. With the impressive business results, Hoa Phat contributed VND5 trillion to the State budget and listed in the top largest tax payers in Viet Nam.

The Viet Nam’s strongest brandname award was based on criteria of leadership ability, brandname protection, human resource, quality of products and services, business results and stability. Especially, the award was also based on achievements in applying green technologies, energy saving, environmental protection and active activities contributing to the community toward sustainable development targets.
