Hoa Phat gains VND 560 billion profit after tax in the first 5 months

Accumulation of 5 months of 2010, Hoa Phat gained VND 4,800 billion revenue and VND 560 billion profit after tax. Accordingly, Hoa Phat accomplished 39% and 41% of revenue and profit after tax plan of the year. In comparison with the same period last year, accumulation of 5 months of 2010, revenue and profit after tax increase approximately 64% and 11% in turn.

In the context of the market’s difficulties, especially the construction material market declined from the beginning of this month, the result shows the Group's efforts to maintain production and business. In the furniture and refrigeration engineering market, Hoa Phat shows its competition when it gains the large market share and profit in May. Refrigeration Engineering Company has increased to 300% capacity to meet the market’s demand. The Energy Company also demonstrates on the ability to control costs and gain profit. It promises to be an important competitive advantage of the Group to continuously develop the industrial activities.

Hoa Phat Cement Factory in Ha Nam province has officially put into operation in the beginning of this month, completing the first stage investment with the capacity of 1 million ton per year.

In particular, so far Hoa Phat Group has urgently implemented the real estate projects especially in the construction of the high buildings and the industrial parks. Hoa Mac Industrial Park with the scale of 200ha has been attracting the attention of many investors and it has some first enterprises investing in workshop construction. In addition, in the next months, Hoa Phat starts to launch the office, plaza, apartment Complex in 257 Giai Phong Street which is invested by Hoa Phat Urban Development & Construction JSC.
