Hoa Phat gains about VND 1.060 billion profit after tax within the first 8 months

Hoa Phat Group made gross revenue of VND 6.241 billion, generating 84% of its annual target. The after-tax profit is about VND 1.060 billion, which is 43% more than its early year target.

Hoa Phat informed the shareholders about advanced 2008 dividend with 10% ratio per par value. At present, besides maintaining the leading market share of the main business lines such as construction steel, steel pipe, furniture, Hoa Phat step by step speeds up exporting some furniture products to the foreign markets.

The significant projects including Hoa Phat Steel Complex (350.000 tons/year), Hoa Phat Cement Project (1 million tons/year in the first phase) which is expected to have products in the QII/2009 will contribute to raise the whole group’s revenue and profit.

With the above profit, EPS of HPG in 8 months is VND 6.450/share (calculated on the average charter capital of 2008 is VND 1.642 billion).
