Hoa Phat Furniture undertakes an ISO assessment

Recently, The Hoa Phat Furniture Joint Stock Company  has conducted the assessment of quality management system standard ISO 9001: 2000 in both office  and production sectors (including the Southern branch), in order to have the certificate ISO 9001: 2000 re-registration.

Taking part in ISO assessment this time included the management board of the company, the department heads, the assessment experts of the  WQA Viet Nam Organization and representatives from the  consultant company 3A.

At the opening session, Mr. Doan Gia Cuong - Director Hoa Phat Furniture has emphasized requirement for each department,  unit in the company to implement strictly to   access properly and effectively. At the same time, the assessment parties also need to access closely, avoid the formalism to reflect exactly the implementation of the ISO system standard in all departments.
 

The experts of the WQA organization has conducted unbiased assessment and have the result reflecting the true reality of the ISO implementation in the company. Accordingly, the departments of the Hoa Phat Furniture has applied fairly well the ISO 9001 - 2000. However, there are still some points which are minor inappropriate, mainly concentrated on the store, records sorting, documents and not applying the form of process or using out of date form. From 5th -15th December, the company must overcome, correct inappropriate items.

Management Board of Company has requested the departments immediately to overcome these inappropriate points on schedule. The ISO representatives and experts will conduct assessment these points. The implementation of ISO 9001-2000 is important in systematically managing, helping Hoa Phat Furniture to offer products as the quality commitment and meet the customer’s demands.

According to the organization WQA’s plan and certificate issuing process, the Hoa Phat Furniture company will be granted the ISO 9001: 2000 certificate at the beginning of Jan/2009. All the Hoa Phat Furniture’s leaders and staffs believe in the well-operated quality management system and it will be highly effective in the sustainable long-term development of the company.
