Hoa Phat contributed VND5 trillion to the State budget in 2017

Last year, Hoa Phat Group contributed VND5 trillion in taxes and fees to the State budget, an increase of 40 per cent compared to 2016. Of which, Hoa Phat contributed most to Hai Duong Province with over VND2 trillion.

Hoa Phat has been the second largest tax payer to Hai Duong Province following Ford Viet Nam and in the Top 10 largest contributors to the province. With more than VND1.2 trillion, Hoa Phat continued to be the biggest tax payer to Hung Yen Province, accounting for 12 per cent of total provincial budget revenue and over 40 per cent of total revenue from non-state enterprises in Hung Yen Province.

In addition to the localities, Hoa Phat also contributed to the budget of 23 provinces and cities across the country, including Hai Phong (VND332 billion), Ho Chi Minh City (VND253 billion), Ha Giang (over VND200 billion), Quang Ninh (VND180 billion), Binh Duong (VND81 billion), Ha Noi (VND63 billion)...

In Quang Ngai Province, although Hoa Phat Dung Quat Integrated Steel Complex project has been in the initial stage of development, Hoa Phat Group has a considerable contribution to this area with VND43 billion. It is expected that when the project come into full operation, Hoa Phat will contribute VND5 trillion to the province's budget.

The group's surged contribution to the State budget has shown its stable and effective development in recent years. Hoa Phat has been consistently honoured in rankings of the largest and most prestigious enterprises, Top 30 largest tax payers in the country.
